About us

A professional hub for live television

storynix was created by broadcasters who were tired of seeing talented people learn live production the hard way: on air, under pressure, with no safety net. We built a place where studio equipment integration, camera craft, lighting and sound can be practised properly before the red light comes on.

Our courses serve newsrooms, independent producers and aspiring crew across the United Kingdom who need dependable processes for news programmes, interviews and live shows.

What we believe

Four principles shape every session, every exercise and every piece of feedback we give.

  • Precision

Timing, framing and levels are measured, rehearsed and repeated until they are second nature.

  • Reliability

Every workflow includes a tested fallback, because live television never gets a second take.

  • Teamwork

Directors, operators, engineers and producers train together, exactly as they work on air.

  • Craft

We care about how a show looks and sounds, from the first light cue to the last mic fade.

A studio that behaves like a real gallery

Our training floor mirrors a working broadcast facility: treated acoustics, a flexible lighting grid, multi-camera positions and a fully wired gallery. Learners trace the signal from lens and microphone through routing and switching to the final output.

Because the kit is the same class you will meet in professional facilities, the habits you develop here transfer directly to the job.
